Work Environment

This role is set within a hospital facility that fosters teamwork among medical professionals. You will work closely with supervising physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive timely and effective care. Key Responsibilities

• Practice within the scope defined by the supervising physician, demonstrating a clear understanding of policies and procedures.
• Work independently while recognizing when to seek guidance from the supervising physician, ensuring patient safety and high-quality care.
• Manage a robust patient load, typically seeing 30+ patients per day, while efficiently documenting patient information in EMA, our specialized Electronic Health Record system.
• Provide essential direction and leadership to clinic staff, ensuring that office operations run smoothly and effectively.
• Participate in treatment planning and patient education, helping clients understand their diagnoses and treatment options.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Nurse Practitioner at Gleam Skin Wellness Center, you will encounter a diverse patient population, including individuals seeking both medical and cosmetic dermatology services. Your role will significantly impact their quality of life by providing compassionate care, thorough assessments, and tailored treatment plans aimed at addressing their unique skin health concerns.

Qualifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner state license in Georgia.
• Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) with a specialization in dermatology or a related field.
• Board certification as a Dermatology Nurse Practitioner (DNP-BC) or equivalent.
• Proficiency in dermatological procedures such as biopsies, excisions, and cryotherapy.
• Strong understanding of dermatological treatments, skin conditions, and relevant medical terminology.
• Excellent communication skills to facilitate effective interactions with patients and interdisciplinary medical staff.
• Demonstrated facility with Electronic Health Record systems, particularly EMA.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in dermatology, providing direct patient care.
• A commitment to maintaining current knowledge of advancements in dermatological practices and technologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to make independent clinical judgments.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in patient documentation and treatment protocols.

Compensation and Benefits

At Gleam Skin Wellness Center, we value our team members and offer a competitive salary range of USD 125,000 to 190,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Our benefits package includes:
