Work Environment

This role will be based onsite at our state-of-the-art hospital in Hempstead, where you will work alongside a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, and healthcare specialists in a collaborative healthcare setting. Here, the emphasis is not just on treating ailments but also on promoting health and wellbeing within the community. Your work schedule will be Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough health assessments and detailed physical examinations to establish patient diagnoses and develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
• Utilize independent judgment to order and interpret necessary diagnostic tests and prescribe medications to facilitate effective treatment pathways.
• Perform specialized therapeutic procedures and interventions, ensuring adherence to medical guidelines and best practices.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care, streamline referrals, and enhance continuity of health services.
• Engage with patients to provide education on health promotion, disease prevention strategies, and chronic disease management techniques, empowering them to take charge of their health.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with regulatory standards, ensuring that patient information is up-to-date and secure.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited institution, reflecting a strong foundation in clinical practice.
