Key Responsibilities

• Maintain detailed and accurate medical records, ensuring compliance with all regulatory guidelines, which will facilitate seamless patient care and communication.
• Work alongside cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans that address the comprehensive needs of each patient.
• Perform regular follow-up visits, conducting thorough assessments to monitor the efficacy of treatment regimens and patient adherence.
• Prescribe medications, execute diagnostic tests, and implement therapies for patients with cardiovascular diseases by adhering to evidence-based protocols and clinical guidelines.
• Manage chronic conditions including hypertension, heart failure, and arrhythmias, utilizing your expertise to adjust treatment plans as needed, aiming for optimal patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The focus of this role will primarily be on adult patients struggling with various cardiovascular issues, from prevention to management of chronic diseases. This position requires you to develop meaningful relationships with patients, understand their individual health journeys, and educate them about lifestyle choices that can improve their heart health.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• A current Nurse Practitioner license valid in the state of New York.
• At least two years of clinical experience specifically in cardiology or a closely related specialty.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster patient relationships and communicate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to work autonomously while also embracing teamwork within a collaborative healthcare setting.

Compensation and Benefits

WholeLife Wellness Medical Center offers a competitive annual salary between $150,000 and $160,000, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
