Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite, allowing the Nurse Practitioner to engage directly with patients in a welcoming and supportive environment. Our office operates under a unique concierge medicine model, where we prioritize patient access and comprehensive care through house calls in addition to in-office appointments. By focusing on outpatient services, we maintain a schedule that avoids the traditional demands of on-call, night, or weekend hours. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life harmony.

Key Responsibilities

The Nurse Practitioner will play a vital role in our outpatient practice and be responsible for a variety of tasks designed to support patient health and well-being. Primary responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with orthopedic physicians and multidisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Managing chronic conditions such as hypertension and high cholesterol, ensuring that patient needs are met effectively.
• Delivering outpatient Electrophysiology services for patients with arrhythmias and related conditions.
• Assessing and managing patients presenting with acute conditions including Coronary Artery Disease, Peripheral Artery Disease, Congestive Heart Failure, Valvular Heart Disease, and Transient Ischemic Attacks.
• Conducting stress testing and interpreting results to aid in diagnosis and treatment.
• Documenting patient histories, performing physical exams, and prescribing medications in accordance with best practices.
• Facilitating timely referrals to specialists within the orthopedic division when needed.
• Providing educational resources to patients and their families to promote understanding and compliance with treatment protocols.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.

Compensation and Benefits
