Work Environment

As a Nurse Practitioner in a school environment, you will be working onsite at educational institutions, fostering a preventive and proactive approach to health among students. Your work hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a work-life balance that supports your personal commitments. You will be stationed in a dynamic and collaborative workspace, where understanding the unique health challenges faced by children and adolescents is paramount.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive direct patient care to students, including health assessments, treatments, and preventative care plans.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of student health histories and symptoms, utilizing diagnostic reasoning to formulate tailored treatment strategies.
• Manage chronic health conditions by prescribing medications, recommending lifestyle adjustments, and engaging in patient education to promote better health practices.
• Act as a strong advocate for student health, ensuring accessibility to necessary resources and delivering compassionate care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Must possess an active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Oregon. Board certification in a relevant specialty area is preferred.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience, with a background in pediatric or adolescent healthcare strongly preferred.
• Proficient in advanced clinical skills and capable of delivering high-level patient care in a school setting.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and staff.

• Competitive annual salary ranging between $180,000.00 and $200,000.00, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
