Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate full-time Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) to join our dynamic healthcare team at Pedi Well Pediatric Services, located in North Greece, New York. This is a vital role in which you will provide specialized care to the pediatric population, ensuring high-quality health services to children from birth through young adulthood.

Work Environment

In this full-time position, you will work onsite at our hospital facility, providing you with direct access to resources and support systems. The work schedule is from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a healthy work-life balance. Our environment is collaborative and team-oriented, ensuring that you will have the support needed to thrive in your role without the pressure of c-section attendance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough and systematic evaluations of pediatric patients, providing comprehensive health care including physical assessments, mental health evaluations, and appropriate immunizations.
• Develop patient management plans for children, documenting progress notes and ensuring continuity of care through follow-up appointments and referrals.
• Perform a variety of therapeutic procedures, such as administering injections, immunizations, performing suture removals, and managing wounds and infections.
• Educate families on health maintenance, developmental milestones, and managing chronic illnesses while providing emotional support tailored to daily living challenges.
• Review medical charts as part of quality assurance protocols, collaborating with physicians to improve clinical practices and patient outcomes.
• Actively participate in multidisciplinary meetings to enhance care delivery and share insights on improving pediatric health services.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives to elevate the standards of care provided within our facility.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on a diverse pediatric client base, addressing individual needs from infancy through young adulthood. You will navigate a range of health concerns, including preventative care, minor acute illnesses, management of chronic conditions, and the psychological well-being of children and their families.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• A Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) is required, along with current RN and NP licensure in the state of New York.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a pediatric clinical setting.
• Current certification through one of the recognized boards such as ANCC, AANP, or Pediatric Nursing Certification Board.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to patients and families.
• Strong teamwork orientation and interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships within the medical team.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a hospital setting or pediatric care facility.
• Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems and familiarity with quality control measures in clinical settings.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from $126,000 to $150,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
