Iron Gate Health & Pain Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our innovative pain management team in Ithaca, New York. This position is located onsite at a school facility, fostering a collaborative and community-oriented atmosphere where health and education intersect. You will be working alongside a diverse team of healthcare providers, including physicians, physical therapists, and other nurse practitioners, creating an integrated approach to patient care. Our patient population primarily consists of individuals suffering from chronic pain conditions, including arthritis, fibromyalgia, and neuropathic pain. Many patients may also have coexisting health issues, requiring comprehensive and nuanced management strategies. Your role will focus on enhancing their quality of life through evidence-based practices and empathetic care.
Experience in a pain management clinic or similar healthcare setting will be considered an asset. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is preferred to facilitate efficient documentation and communication within the team. Candidates with prior experience educating patients on chronic pain management are highly desirable.
