Work Environment

The Advanced Practice Women's Health Nurse Practitioner will work onsite at an assisted living facility, surrounded by a supportive team of healthcare providers. Key Responsibilities

• Offer independent advanced-level clinical expertise to women and their families, assisting them in managing their health journeys.
• Evaluate and manage chronic and acute medical conditions, providing routine care in accordance with established protocols in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Practice advanced clinical skills through the performance of non-invasive and invasive procedures, ensuring a high standard of care.
• Make informed patient management decisions autonomously, collaborating with colleagues as necessary to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Serve as an expert resource for other healthcare team members, including nurses, residents, and ancillaries, enhancing the overall quality of care within the facility.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on women of all ages, from adolescence through menopause and beyond. The patient population in our assisted living facility may include those with both routine and complex health needs. By utilizing your expertise, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for women, promoting preventative care, and managing health concerns effectively.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree, Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), or PhD in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Current, unrestricted RN and Nurse Practitioner licenses.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association.
• DEA registration within the first three months of employment.
• Demonstrated competence in outpatient settings with at least one year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner, specifically within Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills to cater effectively to patients' needs.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate effective interactions with patients and other healthcare professionals.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently, demonstrating superior organizational skills.
• Empathy and capability to support patients, their families, and team members in stressful situations.
• Willingness to perform necessary patient procedures as part of comprehensive care.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of one year of Nurse Practitioner experience is required, we prefer candidates with two or more years of recent outpatient experience in obstetric and gynecological care, including triage, and involvement in clinical performance improvement initiatives.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role will range from $120,000 to $220,000 annually, based on your experience and expertise in the field. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package which includes:
