Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate a patient-centered approach by encouraging individuals to take responsibility for their health through self-management and the utilization of community resources.
• Engage with patients in both individual and group settings, implementing care plans that focus on achieving optimal health outcomes and educating patients about their health conditions.
• Provide compassionate care to a diverse, medically complex patient population. This includes responding appropriately to emotional challenges and managing behavior in potentially volatile situations.
• Utilize your expertise in medical diagnoses and treatments, particularly for children and adolescents, to provide comprehensive assessments and recommendations.
• Manage both acute and chronic health conditions, including basic laboratory work, ensuring a thorough understanding of each patient's medical history.
• Complete all written records promptly, ensuring that medical charts are signed within 72 hours in compliance with industry standards.
• Develop individualized treatment plans to address health dysfunction and minimize risks of further injury, coordinating with other providers as necessary.
• Prescribe and dispense medications according to your licensure and facility protocols, while also providing referrals to necessary community resources, such as occupational and physical therapy.
• Employ evidence-based practices to facilitate shared decision-making with patients, respecting their preferences and socio-cultural norms while aiming for the best treatment outcomes.
• Possibly perform injections consistent with your training and under established protocols as part of therapeutic interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Nurse Practitioner at Renewed Life Management, you will primarily focus on a pediatric and adolescent patient population dealing with complex medical and emotional challenges. Your role will require you to engage with these individuals through tailored interventions that respect their unique circumstances and promote holistic healing.

Qualifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner license and current certification from ANCC or AANP are essential for this role.
• CPR and BLS certification must be obtained by your start date.
• Possession of a Federal DEA number is preferred, which is requisite for full prescribing authority.

Preferred Experience

• Experience as an independent family practice provider is advantageous, particularly in the areas of routine wellness care, chronic care management, and urgent care visits.
• Background in addressing the unique health needs of children and adolescents in a school setting is a plus, demonstrating the capability of providing both individual and group health education and counseling.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time Nurse Practitioner role offers a competitive salary range of USD 120,000 – 130,000 annually. Our benefits package includes:
