Key Responsibilities

• Patient Assessment and Evaluation: As an NP specializing in interventional pain management, you will conduct thorough patient evaluations, including obtaining comprehensive medical histories and performing physical examinations. Your assessments will guide the development of effective pain management strategies tailored to each patient's unique situation.
• Treatment Planning and Implementation: You will collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to create individualized treatment plans that utilize a variety of methods, such as medication management, physical therapy, and minimally invasive procedures to combat chronic pain symptoms.
• Procedural Assistance: You will support our physicians during interventional procedures, providing essential assistance during interventions such as injections and nerve blocks. Your role is crucial in ensuring patient safety, comfort, and satisfaction during these procedures.
• Patient Education and Follow-up: You will take an active role in educating patients about their health conditions, treatment options, and self-care practices, empowering them to actively participate in their care. Patient Population / Client Focus

Your focus will be on an outpatient population suffering from various pain conditions. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Nursing and current eligibility to be licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of New York are required.

• Experience in outpatient clinical settings as an NP will also be valuable.
