Key Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse patient panel, addressing a wide range of health needs, including acute care, chronic conditions, and well-child visits.
• Implement treatment plans developed in collaboration with the Pediatric Consult, monitoring patient progress and adapting strategies as necessary.
• Conduct in-home visits to assess patient conditions, administer assessments, and implement treatment protocols tailored to individual needs.
• Utilize telehealth capabilities for remote consultations, ensuring accessibility for patients and families while maintaining high-quality care standards.
• Engage in continuous learning through weekly Clinical Rounds, case discussions, and other educational opportunities to stay updated on best practices in pediatric care.
• Utilize your clinical training to perform in-office procedures when necessary, integrating innovative methods to enhance patient experience.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role centers around providing care for pediatric patients, ranging from infancy through young adulthood. You'll be addressing various health issues, including developmental disorders, behavioral concerns, and physical health challenges. Our inclusive approach involves supporting not just the children but also engaging with their families to foster a comprehensive understanding of health and wellness.

Qualifications

• A valid and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the State of California, which must be obtained by your start date.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or a related field is required.
• Completion of an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) program with national certification.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and families, fostering an atmosphere of trust and understanding.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of one year of experience working as a Nurse Practitioner in an outpatient primary care setting with pediatric patients.
• Exposure to mental health treatment protocols and familiarity with community resources available for children's services.
• Experience in telemedicine to enhance patient engagement and accessibility.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is between USD 220,000 – 300,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
