Key Responsibilities

As a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting detailed initial patient histories and performing comprehensive physical examinations for women across various age groups.
• Formulating, documenting, and communicating individualized care plans to address the specific health concerns of each patient.
• Carrying out daily patient rounds to monitor progress and provide necessary interventions or adjustments in treatment.
• Prescribing medications, ordering laboratory tests, and arranging diagnostic procedures as per the patient's healthcare needs.
• Interpreting laboratory results and imaging studies to help diagnose conditions and inform treatment plans.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including attending physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers, to enhance patient outcomes.
• Preparing detailed discharge summaries, patient education materials, and referrals as required.
• Providing post-discharge care instructions to patients, ensuring they are well-informed about their health management.
• Performing related duties as required, adhering to professional standards and regulatory requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position primarily serves women navigating various health concerns, including but not limited to reproductive health, prenatal and postnatal care, and preventive health screenings. Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this role will possess:

• A Master's Degree in a Nurse Practitioner program with a focus on women's health.
• National Board Certification in a relevant specialty area as a Nurse Practitioner.
• A current state license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner and Registered Professional Nurse in Texas.
• A minimum of one year of relevant clinical experience in a healthcare setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to engage and educate patients effectively.

Preferred Experience
