Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive health assessments for students with both acute and chronic conditions, ensuring timely and accurate diagnoses.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to address students' medical, emotional, and educational needs.
• Prescribe medications and treatments while maintaining adherence to both educational norms and healthcare laws.
• Educate students and their families about health management, preventive care, and optimal health practices, fostering a culture of wellness.
• Participate in school health initiatives and contribute to the development of health education programs that promote healthy lifestyle choices among students.
• Maintain meticulous electronic health records (EHR) to ensure accurate documentation of student health statuses and interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on the diverse student population of Milwaukee, ranging from elementary to high school age. Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner and an active nursing license in the State of Wisconsin.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner, ideally within a primary care or school setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, families, and educational staff.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, between USD 120,000 and USD 220,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
