Key Responsibilities

• Conduct and document comprehensive physical examinations, including the collection of medical history to aid in accurate diagnoses and treatment plans within established clinical guidelines.
• Utilize specialized clinical skills to deliver women's health services, such as IUD insertions, Nexplanon placements, colposcopies, endometrial biopsies, and pessaries, ensuring adherence to safety and procedural standards.
• Collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes, discussing complex cases and sharing insights for coordinated care efforts.
• Advocate for the diverse needs of patients and their families, integrating multiple aspects of health, such as physiological, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual factors, into care plans.
• Participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss care coordination and address patient-specific needs while maintaining effective relationships with all team members.
• Review and interpret medical records and diagnostic tests, ensuring timely follow-ups and adherence to protocol to improve patient accountability.
• Maintain electronic health records with accuracy, utilizing computer systems and communication technologies for efficient documentation and information sharing.
• Adhere to rigorous safety protocols and legal frameworks throughout the delivery of patient care, maintaining confidentiality and minimizing risks in all operations.
• Stay composed during emergency situations, promptly notifying the necessary personnel and following protocols to minimize disruptions and ensure optimal care delivery.
• Embody a service-oriented mindset, fostering a welcoming atmosphere for patients, families, and colleagues, responding to needs with empathy and professionalism.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will primarily focus on providing care to a diverse population of women of all ages, encompassing various physical, emotional, and social health concerns. This includes preventive care, management of chronic conditions, and guidance through reproductive health choices. Our approach embraces the individual needs of each patient, with an emphasis on equity and accessibility in healthcare.

Qualifications

• Possession of a current and active Nurse Practitioner license to practice in California, including certifications required for the Women’s Health specialty.
• At least one year of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner, preferably in a women's health setting, demonstrating competency in clinical procedures and patient management.
• Eligibility for state programs such as Medicare and Medicaid, ensuring the ability to serve a wide range of patients effectively.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in performing advanced women's health services and procedures is highly desirable.
• Prior experience working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary medical team, showcasing adaptability and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $220,000 annually, commensurate with experience and clinical expertise. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
