Work Environment

The role will primarily take place onsite, within a supportive and collaborative clinical environment. The facility will involve working from our pain management clinic and occasionally from a surgical center, ensuring a diverse array of clinical exposure. The work schedule is structured with Monday to Friday shifts from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, which consists of three days in-office and two days in surgery. While weekend shifts may occasionally be necessary for emergency cases, our team believes in maintaining a healthy work-life balance for all our practitioners.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed assessments of patients to identify the origins and severity of their pain
• Craft individualized treatment plans that combine various pain management techniques, integrating a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach when indicated
• Administer key pain management interventions, such as medication management, nerve blocks, joint injections, radiofrequency ablations, and epidural injections
• Collaborate with physical therapists and other healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes and coordinate care seamlessly
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as required based on clinical assessments
• Provide thorough patient education, covering pain management strategies, treatment implications, and self-care techniques to enhance patient engagement and understanding
• Stay current with advancements in pain management through continuous education and adaptation of evidence-based practices
• Ensure full compliance with medical regulations and maintain comprehensive and accurate patient records

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves individuals dealing with chronic conditions such as lower back pain, knee pain, and osteoarthritis. Qualifications

• Doctorate in Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine (MD or DO)
• Board certification in Pain Management or Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
• If fellowship trained, a background in Anesthesiology is also acceptable
• Active and unrestricted medical license to practice in Texas
• No recent malpractice history and possession of a valid DEA number
• Demonstrated experience in diagnosing and treating diverse pain conditions
• Strong understanding of pain management methodologies and treatments
• Excellent communication abilities for patient interactions and collaboration with team members
• Exceptional analytical skills with a focus on solving clinical challenges

Preferred Experience

• Experience performing EMG/NCV studies would be highly advantageous but is not mandatory
• Prior exposure to a multidisciplinary pain management orthopedic setting
• A proven track record of providing patient-centric care in dynamic clinical environments

Compensation and Benefits

This position comes with a competitive salary range of USD 350,000 to 500,000 per year, along with performance-based bonuses.
