Work Environment

The role of Nurse Practitioner is primarily based in our outpatient office in Newburgh, where you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. Our facility is designed to offer an inviting atmosphere where patients can receive comprehensive healthcare services. You will typically work from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with occasional evening clinics until 8:00 p.m. Participation in community outreach events and health fairs during weekends may be required, fostering direct community engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough health assessments and screenings for individuals and families, facilitating preventive care and early intervention strategies.
• Diagnose and manage both acute and chronic health conditions, ensuring tailor-made treatment plans that promote health and wellness.
• Collaborate closely with local organizations and stakeholders to design and implement effective health education programs focused on improving community health literacy.
• Provide culturally sensitive care tailored to the diverse backgrounds of our patients, advocating for their rights and healthcare access.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner and an active nursing license in the state of New York.
• A Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program is required.

Compensation and Benefits
