This Nurse Practitioner position will be primarily onsite at our Assisted Living Facility in Valley Stream. You will be joining a collaborative and compassionate team comprised of 5 physicians and 5 fellow nurse practitioners. The work schedule consists of 40 hours per week, typically from Monday to Friday, concluding at 5:00 PM. The friendly, team-oriented atmosphere allows for open communication and shared decision-making, ensuring a positive environment for both staff and residents.
This role will focus primarily on elderly residents in an assisted living setting, who often have a range of complex health needs. You will be responsible for addressing both acute and chronic health issues while also considering the emotional and social factors that affect the aging population. Your work will directly contribute to enhancing the quality of life for our residents by advocating for their health and supporting their independence.
We seek candidates with a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in clinical settings, particularly those that demonstrate expertise in acute care, internal medicine, family health, urgent care, or emergency departments. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply as this ability may enhance communication with our diverse resident population.
