The Southwest Pain Relief Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner specializing in pain management to join our team in Elyria, Ohio. Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our hospital facility located in Elyria, Ohio. You will work alongside a highly skilled team of medical assistants, laboratory technicians, and physicians in a collaborative setting designed to foster effective communication and teamwork. The work schedule consists of four ten-hour shifts during the day, allowing for a work-life balance with no weekend commitments. Our state-of-the-art facility is equipped with advanced technology to support your clinical responsibilities and enhance patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including obtaining comprehensive patient histories and performing detailed physical examinations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on diagnostic impressions, including medication management and physical therapy recommendations.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and therapeutic procedures, ensuring accuracy in decision-making and patient care.
• Perform specialized procedures such as trigger point injections, joint injections, and occipital nerve blocks with or without ultrasound guidance.
• Monitor patients’ progress and the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions, making adjustments as necessary.
• Provide patient education and counseling tailored to individual needs, ensuring patients understand their conditions and treatment options.
• Coordinate referrals to specialists and manage follow-ups to ensure continuity of care.
• Handle prescription refills and review monthly prescription monitoring reports to maintain compliance and patient safety.
• Participate in continuous education and professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Nurse Practitioner at Southwest Pain Relief Center, you will serve a diverse patient population experiencing acute and chronic pain conditions. This includes individuals suffering from fibromyalgia, back pain, arthritis, and post-surgical pain, among others. You will be responsible for providing compassionate care that addresses not only the physical but also the emotional and psychological aspects of pain management.

Qualifications

• Current board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Adult Nurse Practitioner.
• A Doctorate in Nurse Practitioner Studies is preferred.
• Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification.
• A current, unrestricted DEA license.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) and strong computer skills.
• Commitment to OSHA, FDA, and HIPAA compliance.

Preferred Experience

• At least one year of experience in pain management is preferred, though candidates with relevant clinical experience will be considered.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.
• Ability to converse in both English and Spanish is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 115,000 to 165,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Our benefits package includes:
