Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide high-quality behavioral health care in Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) settings. You will work with an interdisciplinary team to assess, diagnose, and treat residents with psychiatric and behavioral conditions.

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments
  
• Diagnose and manage mental health conditions
  
• Prescribe and monitor medications (DEA required)
  
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and social workers
  
• Provide ongoing follow-up and treatment planning
  
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
  

Requirements

• Active New Jersey Nurse Practitioner license
  

• Board Certification as PMHNP
  
• Active DEA license
  
• Experience in SNF, long-term care, or geriatrics preferred
  
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
  
• Experience with geriatric psychiatry
  
• Familiarity with EMR systems
  
• Ability to work independently
