Position Overview

Serenity Solutions Medical Clinic is actively searching for a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our outpatient practice within the Center for Advanced Cardiac Care (CACC). The NP will work under the management of the Chief Nurse Practitioner and will collaborate closely with the Medical Director in the Division of Cardiology. This role is critical in providing exceptional care to patients with various cardiovascular conditions, and it offers an annual salary range of USD 120,000 to 130,000.

Work Environment

This full-time position is onsite at our state-of-the-art hospital facility. The clinic operates Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, with no on-call responsibilities, evening, or weekend hours. This structured schedule allows our Nurse Practitioners to achieve a work-life balance while dedicating their time and expertise to patient care. Key Responsibilities

• Partner with a team of cardiologists to manage and treat patients with chronic conditions such as Hypertension and High Cholesterol.
• Provide specialized outpatient Electrophysiology evaluations and services for patients exhibiting arrhythmias, abnormal electrocardiograms, and implanted cardiac devices.
• Assess and manage patients facing acute cardiovascular issues including Coronary Artery Disease, Peripheral Artery Disease, Congestive Heart Failure, Valvular Heart Disease (VHD), and candidates of Stroke or Transient Ischemic Attack.
• Administer in-office Stress Testing to help determine the overall heart health of patients.
• Collect comprehensive patient histories and perform physical exams, utilizing the electronic health record system for efficient documentation.
• Prescribe medications as per established protocols and ongoing evaluations.
• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans, including referrals to specialists within our network when necessary.
• Educate patients and their families about cardiovascular health, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications to improve health outcomes.
• Remain current on best practices and care methodologies within cardiology through continuous learning.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Nurse Practitioner at Serenity Solutions Medical Clinic, you will primarily work with a diverse population of patients seeking cardiac care. These include individuals with a range of ages from young adults to seniors facing complex cardiovascular conditions. Your role is vital in developing long-term relationships with patients and ensuring they receive personalized and holistic care throughout their treatment journey.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution, with a preference for candidates holding a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing.
• Certification as a Nurse Practitioner with a strong emphasis on cardiovascular health.
• A valid state license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in Nevada.
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Intermediate computer skills for inputting patient information and managing healthcare data effectively.

Preferred Experience

We welcome both experienced Nurse Practitioners and newer graduates. Prior work experience in an outpatient or inpatient cardiology setting, including direct patient care and exposure to cardiac procedures, will be considered a significant advantage. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and a solid foundation in pharmacology related to cardiovascular medications will also enhance your application.
