Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Occasional flexibility may be required to accommodate patient needs and scheduling preferences.
- Some evening or weekend hours may be scheduled to meet the needs of patients who are unable to attend therapy during regular business hours.
Salary:
$70,000 to $90,000 per year

Job Duties:
- Perform thorough evaluations to assess patients' functional abilities, identify limitations, and establish individualized treatment plans.
- Provide evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to enhance patients' physical, cognitive, and psychosocial skills.
- Collaborate with patients, their families, and caregivers to set meaningful goals and develop strategies to achieve them.
- Design and implement therapeutic activities and exercises to improve patients' motor skills, coordination, balance, and endurance.
- Utilize adaptive equipment and assistive technology to promote independence and facilitate activities of daily living.
- Educate patients and their families on techniques for managing pain, conserving energy, and preventing further disability.
- Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes accurately and timely in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
- Stay updated with advancements in occupational therapy through continuing education and professional development activities.
- Comply with legal and ethical standards, maintaining patient confidentiality and advocating for their rights.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current and valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- CPR certification.
- Experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in rehabilitation or acute care.
- Strong knowledge of occupational therapy principles, assessments, and interventions.
- Proficiency in conducting evaluations and developing individualized treatment plans.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help individuals reach their full potential.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a diverse caseload.
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
