Work Environment

The outpatient office located in El Paso is a friendly and welcoming space, designed for effective therapy sessions and patient comfort. As a full-time Occupational Therapist, you will work Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend hours as needed. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical and cognitive abilities, reviewing pertinent information and determining the impact on their assessment and treatment plans.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with each patient's specific needs and measurable goals, ensuring a holistic approach to therapy.
• Utilize standardized assessment tools to document functional abilities, home/vocational requirements, and equipment needs.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress notes, ensuring compliance with departmental guidelines and regulatory standards.
• Revise treatment plans as necessary throughout the therapy process based on patient progress and feedback.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment procedures, ensuring they understand the goals of therapy and any associated risks.
• Provide supervision and guidance to Occupational Therapy Assistants, ensuring they are equipped to deliver effective therapy based on established treatment protocols.
• Engage with nursing staff and family members to enhance patients' utilization of their functional abilities and support independence in daily activities.

Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
