Work Environment

The work setting is an onsite facility located in Clifton, New Jersey, where you will join a supportive, team-oriented environment. Working hours are Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a structured schedule that allows for work-life balance while delivering essential care to our patients. Our facility is well-equipped with modern therapy tools and resources to meet diverse patient needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients' medical conditions, functional capabilities, and rehabilitation potential through comprehensive evaluations, both onsite and during home visits.
• Design and implement effective, personalized therapy plans that facilitate patient rehabilitation and enhance their daily living skills.
• Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems, preferably Hello Note, for meticulous documentation of patient assessments, treatment progress, and outcomes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of therapists and healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive care and optimal recovery for each patient.
• Engage in continuous communication with patients and their families to help them understand the treatment process, celebrate milestones, and adjust therapy plans as necessary.
• Maintain proper CPR certification and consistently adhere to safety standards and protocols during therapy sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Privado Chiropractic LLC, we focus on serving a diverse patient population, including pediatric and geriatric patients. You will work with children requiring developmental support as well as older adults emphasizing physical rehabilitation and enhancing their quality of life. Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• At least 2 years of professional experience as an Occupational Therapist is essential.
• CPR certification must be current and maintained throughout employment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with both pediatric and geriatric populations is preferred.
• Competence in managing a minimum caseload of 4-5 patients is favorable.
• Familiarity with EMR documentation, especially with Hello Note, enhances eligibility.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $85,000 to $95,000, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
