Job Title: Office Manager – Hospital Setting (Atlanta , Georgia)
Job Type: Full Time
Work Hours: Monday - Friday: 9 AM-5 PM
Compensation: $75,000.00 - $100,000 per year + benefits
As the Office Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day administrative functions that ensure the hospital runs smoothly and efficiently. You will supervise administrative staff, manage office procedures, support budgeting and payroll, and ensure compliance with hospital policies and healthcare regulations. Your leadership will contribute directly to the patient experience and the hospital’s overall success.
Job Duties:
- Oversee all administrative office functions, including reception, scheduling, billing support, medical records, and office supply management.
- Supervise, train, and evaluate office staff, including administrative assistants, front desk personnel, and medical secretaries.
- Ensure that patient registration, appointment scheduling, and check-in/check-out processes are handled efficiently and professionally.
- Develop and enforce standard operating procedures for administrative processes.
- Maintain and manage electronic and paper records in compliance with HIPAA and hospital policies.
- Coordinate with finance to manage office-related budgets, invoices, and payroll documentation.
- Ensure that all front-office equipment and systems are properly maintained and operational.
- Serve as a liaison between the administrative team, clinical departments, and senior management.
- Resolve patient or staff concerns related to office operations with diplomacy and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field required. Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of office management experience in a hospital or healthcare setting
- Familiarity with healthcare terminology, office procedures, and medical billing is a plus.
- Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with healthcare management systems (e.g., EHR/EMR, scheduling software, billing platforms).
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, medical terminology, and hospital operations.
- Ability to manage conflict and lead with a service-first mentality.
