Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations, which include visual acuity testing, ocular health assessments, and diagnostic evaluations to determine patient vision needs.
• Diagnose and manage a variety of ocular diseases and conditions, adapting treatment plans as necessary and prescribing corrective lenses or medications.
• Deliver specialized care in areas of niche interest such as pediatric optometry or contact lens fittings by utilizing specialty products and techniques tailored to patient needs.
• Utilize advanced equipment for diagnostic tests, including visual field assessments, retinal photography, and optical coherence tomography (OCT), to ensure thorough patient evaluations.
• Collaborate with fellow optometrists, ophthalmologists, and other healthcare professionals for the comprehensive management of patient care, establishing referral protocols as appropriate.
• Educate patients about maintaining optimal eye health, including managing conditions like digital eye strain through lifestyle adjustments and proper lens care.
• Ensure the precise fitting and adjustments of eyewear, emphasizing comfort and functionality to enhance patient satisfaction.

Compensation and Benefits
