We are seeking candidates with relevant experience in pain management to ensure the highest level of care for our patients. As a Pain Management Physician, you will play a crucial role in helping patients manage their pain and improve their quality of life. Your expertise in pain management techniques and compassionate patient care will make a significant impact on the well-being of individuals experiencing chronic or acute pain. - Perform comprehensive evaluations, including physical exams and patient history assessments.
- Diagnose and treat chronic and acute pain conditions, such as neuropathic, musculoskeletal, and post-surgical pain.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, including medication management, physical therapy referrals, and interventional procedures.
- Administer pain-relief interventions such as nerve blocks, epidural injections, joint injections, and trigger point therapy.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of specialists, physical therapists, and mental health professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
- Educate patients on pain management strategies, lifestyle modifications, and preventive care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Stay current with advancements in pain management through continuing education.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
- Board certification or eligibility in Pain Medicine or Anesthesiology with a Pain Medicine fellowship
- Proficiency in various pain management techniques, including interventional procedures and medication management
- Experience in patient care and assessment in the field of pain management
- Knowledge of coding and documentation requirements for accurate billing and reimbursement
- Familiarity with occupational health regulations and guidelines
