Job Title: Pharmacist – Medical Center Setting (California)

Location: Los Angeles , California

Job Type: Full Time

Work Hours: Monday - Friday: 9 AM-5 PM

Compensation: $120,000.00 - $150,000 per year + benefits 

As a Pharmacist at Harmony Hill Medical Center, you will play an integral role in optimizing patient care by ensuring the safe, effective, and appropriate use of medications. Working closely with healthcare providers, nurses, and other multidisciplinary teams, you will help shape treatment plans, educate patients, and make critical recommendations that support the health and well-being of our community. Job Duties:

  • Review, verify, and dispense medications in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols
  • Provide pharmacokinetic consultations and therapeutic drug monitoring
  • Participate in interdisciplinary rounds, especially in critical care, oncology, or internal medicine
  • Educate staff and patients on proper medication use and safety
  • Monitor for drug interactions, contraindications, and patient-specific factors
  • Support transitions of care and discharge medication reconciliation
  • Assist in the development and review of clinical guidelines, order sets, and formulary decisions
  • Precept pharmacy residents or students (if applicable)

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited school of pharmacy.
  • Active Pharmacist license in the state of California (or eligibility for licensure).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital, medical center, or clinical setting.
  • Strong knowledge of clinical pharmacology, hospital pharmacy operations, and EMR systems
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-based environment
