Job Title: Full-Time Pharmacist – Hospital-Based Clinical Pharmacy (Arizona)

Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 

Job Type: Full Time

Work Hours: Monday - Friday: 9 AM-5 PM

Compensation: $120,000.00 - $150,000 per year + benefits

Core Responsibilities:

  • Dispense medications accurately and safely, while verifying prescriptions and checking for drug interactions, allergies, or contraindications.
  • Provide patient counseling on medication adherence, side effects, and therapeutic goals.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to optimize pharmacological therapies.
  • Oversee and mentor pharmacy technicians and support staff.
  • Maintain regulatory compliance with state and federal laws, including controlled substances.
  • Participate in formulary reviews, medication therapy management (MTM), or antimicrobial stewardship programs (depending on setting).
  • Utilize pharmacy information systems and EMRs to manage prescriptions and records efficiently.

Qualifications:

  • PharmD from an accredited School of Pharmacy.
  • Active or eligible Pharmacist license in the state of Pennsylvania.
  • Strong communication, clinical judgment, and critical thinking skills.
  • Attention to detail, patient advocacy, and ethical professionalism.
  • Experience in retail, hospital, or clinical pharmacy preferred (but not required for entry-level positions).
  • PGY-1/PGY-2 residency training or BCPS/BCACP certification is a plus (for hospital/clinical roles).
