Job Type: Full Time

Work Hours: Monday - Friday: 9 AM-5 PM

Compensation: $120,000.00 - $150,000 per year + benefits

We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and patient-focused Hospital Pharmacist to join our expanding pharmacy team. This is an outstanding opportunity to contribute to high-impact clinical programs while working alongside a supportive and dynamic group of professionals.

As a Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in ensuring optimal medication therapy outcomes for our diverse patient population. You’ll be involved in everything from medication reconciliation and sterile compounding to clinical consultations and interdisciplinary rounding

Job Duties:

  • Review, verify, and dispense medications accurately and safely in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize drug therapy and reduce adverse events.
  • Participate in medication therapy management (MTM), dosing protocols, renal dose adjustments, antimicrobial stewardship, and anticoagulation management.
  • Prepare sterile IV admixtures and ensure proper handling of high-risk medications.
  • Educate healthcare staff and patients on medication usage, interactions, and safety practices.
  • Monitor inventory, ensure regulatory compliance, and participate in quality assurance initiatives.
  • Contribute to the development of clinical pathways, formulary management, and protocol updates.
  • May precept pharmacy students or residents, depending on experience and interest.

Qualifications:

  • PharmD from an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy.
  • Current and unrestricted Pennsylvania Pharmacist License (or eligibility to obtain before start date).
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of hospital pharmacy experience or completion of a PGY1 residency preferred.
  • Strong clinical knowledge and a commitment to evidence-based practice.
    Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
    Familiarity with EMR systems and hospital pharmacy software (e.g., Epic, Pyxis, Cerner) is a plus.
  • BLS or ACLS certification preferred.
