Key Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately, providing clear instructions on dosage and usage to patients and caregivers.
• Conduct thorough reviews of medication orders to verify accuracy and completeness, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
• Offer expert consultation and advice on pharmaceutical care, addressing concerns regarding drug interactions, side effects, and allergies for both patients and healthcare providers.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and nursing staff, to develop, implement, and monitor individualized medication therapy plans aimed at achieving optimal patient outcomes.
• Manage pharmacy inventory, ensuring timely ordering and restocking of medications and supplies to support patient care seamlessly.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current pharmacy regulations and best practices to ensure the highest level of compliance and safety in medication distribution.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our Clinical Pharmacist will focus on a diverse patient population in the hospital, including individuals with complex healthcare needs, chronic diseases, and various acute conditions. Qualifications

• A Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited pharmacy school.
• An active pharmacy license in the state of Washington.
• Strong foundational knowledge in pharmacology, therapeutic regimens, and patient care protocols.
• Exceptional communication skills, particularly in conveying complex information to patients and healthcare providers effectively.
• Proficiency in using pharmaceutical software and inventory management systems.

Preferred Experience

We highly value candidates with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a clinical pharmacy setting, particularly within a hospital or similar healthcare facility.
