Phlebotomist Needed in Los Angeles, CA

We are seeking an experienced Phlebotomist to join our team at a busy Urgent Care Center. This role plays a key part in supporting patient care through the accurate and efficient collection of blood specimens for diagnostic testing. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, well-organized, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced clinical environment. This position involves direct interaction with patients of all ages and requires excellent communication and technical skills to ensure quality service and accurate specimen handling.

Work Hours: Monday – Friday 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Salary: $40,000 - $50,000 a year plus benefits

Responsibilities:

• Perform venipunctures and capillary punctures to collect blood specimens from patients.
• Label, prepare, and transport specimens according to protocol.
• Maintain clean and well-stocked phlebotomy work areas and supplies.
• Verify patient identity and ensure accuracy in specimen labeling and documentation.
• Follow all safety protocols and infection control guidelines.
• Assist medical staff with basic clinical duties as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Diploma or certification in Phlebotomy is required.
• Previous experience as a Medical Assistant is a plus.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
