Join Our Mission: Hiring Dedicated PTAs for a Skilled Nursing Facility at Sobe Rehab Center!
We are on the lookout for a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to become part of our dedicated team. You will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to assist residents in reaching their rehabilitation goals, enhancing their mobility, and improving their overall quality of life.
Salary: $60,000 to $80,000
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in conducting thorough assessments of residents' physical capabilities and limitations.
- Implement treatment plans designed by the Physical Therapist to meet residents' rehabilitation needs.
- Administer therapeutic exercises and modalities to promote strength, mobility, and functional independence.
- Monitor and document residents' progress, providing updates to the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver comprehensive care.
- Educate residents, families, and caregivers on home exercise programs and rehabilitation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and professional standards.
Requirements:
- Must have AAS degree in Physical Therapy Assistant.
- Currently active PTA state license
- Must have 2 years of experience in orthopedic.
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Ability to provide compassionate patient care while maintaining professionalism
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals
