We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic team at a skilled nursing facility. You will play a crucial role in helping residents achieve their rehabilitation goals under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

Salary: $60,000 to $80,000
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with the assessment of residents' physical capabilities and limitations.
• Implement treatment plans as directed by the Physical Therapist.
• Administer therapeutic exercises and modalities to support residents' recovery.
• Monitor residents' progress and document treatment outcomes effectively.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide holistic care.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on exercise programs and rehabilitation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.

Requirements:

• Must have AAS degree in Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Currently active PTA state license
• Must have 2 years of experience in orthopedic.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
• Ability to provide compassionate patient care while maintaining professionalism
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals
