Seeking Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant
 
We are looking to hire a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. As a therapy assistant, you will work closely with a licensed physical therapist to support patients in their recovery from injuries, surgeries, or illnesses. PTAs implement treatment plans, monitor progress, and assist during therapeutic exercises. Your dedication will significantly enhance patient mobility and overall well-being, creating a positive environment that encourages healing and motivation.
 
Salary:

• $50,000-$60,000 per year with full benefits.

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday 9 am - 5 pm

Patient Volume:

• 1-2 patient an hour

Responsibilities:

• Assist the physical therapist in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
• Perform therapeutic exercises and modalities as prescribed.
• Monitor and document patient progress, noting any changes in condition or response to treatment.
• Educate patients and their families about exercises, equipment, and home care techniques.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patient care.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
  

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited institution.
• Active New York state license as Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic techniques.
• Strong manual therapy skills and training.
• Familiarity with EMR Software (WebPT)
