Job Type: Full-time
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday (9 AM - 5 PM or 8 AM - 4 PM)
Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 annually, plus benefits
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physical therapists in assessing patient needs and developing tailored treatment plans.
- Facilitate therapeutic exercises and provide manual therapy under the direction of licensed staff.
- Observe and document patient progress, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date.
- Educate patients about their treatment plans and the importance of adherence to home exercise regimens.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to enhance patient care and achieve optimal recovery outcomes.
- Uphold strict safety and infection control standards in all patient interactions.
- Engage in continuous learning and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited institution.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a related field is preferred.
- Strong understanding of physical therapy principles and a commitment to patient care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered, empathetic approach.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
