Key Responsibilities

• Implement physical therapy services as planned, delegated, and supervised by the Licensed Physical Therapist, ensuring adherence to established protocols.
• Utilize effective communication skills to educate patients and their families about injury prevention, rehabilitation exercises, and the overall treatment process.
• Document patient progress comprehensively and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with health care regulations and internal policies.
• Apply stringent infection control protocols and standard precautions to maintain a safe treatment environment.
• Accept and execute clinical assignments that align with your competencies and expertise, ensuring optimal patient care.
• Engage in mandatory continuing education and participate in in-service training programs to enhance professional development and stay updated with the latest therapy techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physical Therapy Assistant will work with a diverse range of patients spanning all age groups, from pediatric to geriatric populations. You will contribute to rehabilitation efforts for individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, or debilitating conditions. Your hands-on approach will be instrumental in helping patients regain strength, mobility, and independence.

Qualifications

• Education: An Associate Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Licensure: A current license to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of Ohio.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, with hands-on experience in manual therapy techniques being highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

The Physical Therapy Assistant position offers a competitive salary range between USD 50,000 and 60,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a robust salary, our benefits package includes:
