Key Responsibilities

• Assist licensed physical therapists in implementing individualized physical therapy plans tailored to the patients' needs.

• Communicate effectively with patients and their families to explain treatment goals and provide education on home exercises.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment sessions in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.
• Utilize infection control measures and standard precautions to ensure a safe treatment environment.
• Participate in ongoing training and educational programs to stay updated with the latest practices in physical therapy.
• Utilize healthcare technology for effective communication and documentation of patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role involves working with a diverse patient population ranging from pediatric to geriatric age groups. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will support patients with various conditions, including post-operative care, chronic illnesses, neurological disorders, and rehabilitation needs. Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited physical therapy assistant program with an Associate Degree in Physical Therapy.
