As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) at Steady Steps Solutions LLC, you will play a critical role in helping patients regain their mobility and improve their quality of life. Your role as a PTA will take place onsite at our well-equipped hospital facility located in Dallas. Here, you will work closely with medical staff, including physical therapists, doctors, and nursing personnel, in a dynamic and supportive environment that prioritizes patient care. Conduct initial assessments of patients' physical capabilities under supervision and prepare reports to guide treatment planning.
Administer physical therapy modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and therapeutic exercises while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Support patients through various rehabilitation activities, instructing them on exercises designed to restore functionality and mobility.
Always observe and document patient responses to treatments, relaying this vital information back to the supervising physical therapist.
Participate actively in team meetings, sharing insights and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to optimize treatment plans.
Engage with patients and their families to provide education on injury prevention, recovery processes, and long-term fitness goals.

An Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program is mandatory, along with active licensure to practice as a PTA.

Strong organizational and time-management skills are essential for coordinating care effectively.
A minimum of two years of experience working in a clinical setting focused on orthopedics or sports rehabilitation.
Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and familiarity with practice management software.
Previous work in a collaborative setting involving multidisciplinary teams is highly valued.
