Work Environment

The Physical Therapist Assistant role is a full-time, onsite position within a hospital setting, where teamwork and communication are foundational elements of our practice. Our clinic operates Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some required flexibility to meet patient needs and clinic operations. You will collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team, including Physical Therapists and other healthcare professionals, to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Assisting Physical Therapists in creating and implementing individualized treatment plans aimed at enhancing patients' mobility, strength, and functional abilities.
• Guiding patients through therapeutic exercises, stretches, and other activities designed for their rehabilitation goals, fostering a supportive and encouraging environment.
• Educating patients about proper body mechanics and effective exercise techniques, empowering them to continue their recovery routines at home.
• Administering modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy, under close supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

• An Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• A valid state license or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.

• Proficiency in implementing therapeutic exercises and modalities, demonstrating effectiveness under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

Compensation and Benefits
