Key Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapists in the implementation and adjustment of individualized treatment plans, ensuring appropriate techniques are utilized based on patients’ diagnoses.
• Provide direct patient care, and administer therapeutic exercises, functional training, and modalities such as ultrasound or electrical stimulation to facilitate recovery.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously using our electronic medical record system, ensuring all changes in patients' conditions are communicated effectively to the Physical Therapist.
• Encourage patient adherence to treatment regimens, providing motivation and emotional support throughout their therapy sessions.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized therapy environment, ensuring all materials and equipment are in proper working order and readily accessible.
• Educate patients and their families on techniques for enhancing mobility, understanding their treatment plans, and complying with home exercises.
• Adhere to safety protocols at all times, ensuring patient safety during treatments and exercises.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse population of patients, ranging from those recovering from orthopedic surgeries to individuals with chronic pain conditions, sports injuries, and geriatric populations. Your role is crucial in facilitating their rehabilitation and restoring their functional abilities. Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program is required.
• Possession of an active and valid Physical Therapy Assistant licensure in the state of Washington is a must.
