Work Environment

Located within a modern hospital setting in Bakersfield, our rehabilitation clinic fosters an environment of collaboration and innovation. Our onsite team includes Licensed Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech-Language Pathologists, facilitating integrated patient care. Our working hours are primarily Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional flexibility required to meet the unique needs of our patients and clinic operations.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist Assistant at Gotham Enterprises Ltd, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Assisting licensed Physical Therapists in developing and implementing personalized treatment plans for patients to enhance mobility, strength, and functionality.
• Guiding patients through therapeutic exercises—including stretches, balance training, and functional movement activities—encouraging patient engagement and participation.
• Educating patients and families on exercise techniques and home rehabilitation programs to support ongoing recovery after discharge.
• Administering treatment modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and thermal therapies, while ensuring compliance with safety and care protocols.
• Monitoring and meticulously documenting patient progress and response to therapy, utilizing electronic health record systems for documentation accuracy.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and adequately stocked treatment area and ensuring equipment is properly sanitized and functional.
• Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to create comprehensive care plans aimed at achieving optimal patient outcomes.
• Providing emotional and motivational support to patients, fostering a positive and encouraging therapeutic environment.
• Upholding ethical standards of practice and ensuring confidentiality at all times.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree from a recognized Physical Therapist Assistant program.

Compensation and Benefits
