Work Environment

This onsite position is situated within a hospital facility that prioritizes integrative care. The team operates on a Monday to Friday schedule from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life harmony while delivering exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapists in conducting thorough patient assessments and developing tailored treatment plans based on individual needs.
• Implement therapeutic exercises, including but not limited to stretching, strengthening, and functional training techniques, under the guidance of the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Provide hands-on assistance during therapy sessions, ensuring correct exercise techniques and safe practice to maximize patient recovery.
• Monitor patient progress meticulously and document treatment sessions to provide accurate updates and adjust treatment as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families on best practices for performing exercises correctly, proper body mechanics, and safe mobility strategies to prevent further injury.
• Implement safety protocols while operating and supervising therapeutic equipment used in patient treatments.
• Communicate effectively with physical therapists, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate a comprehensive and cohesive approach to patient care.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program is required.
• Active and valid PTA license in the state of Texas.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $60,000 to $65,000 annually, based on your experience and qualifications.
