As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work alongside a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and rehabilitation aides. Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with licensed Physical Therapists to implement individualized treatment plans, executing modalities such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and neuromuscular re-education.
• Provide continuous patient support during therapy sessions, ensuring each patient is engaged and motivated throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Regularly monitor and document patient progress in compliance with regulatory standards, adjusting therapy plans as required to optimize outcomes.
• Educate patients on safe exercise techniques, encouraging adherence to their rehabilitation program and promoting an understanding of their conditions.
• Contribute to the development of care plans in tandem with the broader healthcare team, facilitating communication and coordination of care.
• Maintain accurate electronic health records to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and support seamless care transitions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve patients dealing with orthopedic conditions such as post-operative recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain syndromes. Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapist Assisting or a related field is required.
• An active PTA state license in New York is essential.
• Minimum of two years of hands-on experience in an orthopedic setting.
• Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology is critical for effective patient care.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, allowing for effective communication with patients and team members.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
