Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist in performing comprehensive patient evaluations and assessments, ensuring a respectful and supportive atmosphere.
• Implement and modify individualized treatment plans and exercises as directed by the Physical Therapist, with a continuous focus on optimizing patient outcomes.
• Instruct and supervise patients on various therapeutic exercises, providing clear guidance and support to encourage adherence to rehabilitation protocols.
• Utilize a range of modalities such as heat, cold, and electrical stimulation to alleviate pain and enhance functional movement, all while prioritizing patient comfort and safety.
• Educate patients and their families about home exercise regimens and self-care techniques, fostering independence and confidence in managing their health.
• Monitor patient progress regularly, documenting treatment outcomes accurately to inform ongoing care strategies and adjustments.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, such as occupational therapists and physicians, to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive patient care experience.
• Maintain meticulous patient records and treatment documentation, demonstrating attention to detail as well as adherence to all regulatory and facility standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients recovering from a variety of conditions, including but not limited to post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, stroke recovery, and chronic pain management. Understanding the unique challenges faced by our diverse patient population will be essential in tailoring treatment plans that address their specific needs and goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as an eligible Physical Therapist Assistant or the ability to obtain licensure promptly.
• A strong foundation in physical therapy principles and practices as well as a genuine passion for aiding individuals in their rehabilitation journey.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 55,000 to 75,000 per year, dependent on experience and qualifications.
