Needed Full-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
Position: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
Location: Spokane, Washington
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM
Compensation: $90,000 to $100,000 + benefits
Position Overview:
We are looking for an enthusiastic Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team. In this role, you will work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist, supporting students in developing and improving their motor skills. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and making a direct impact on their daily lives and learning experiences.
Job Duties:

Assist the physical therapist in implementing treatment plans designed to improve motor function and mobility in students.
Work with students on exercises and activities that promote physical wellness and independence.
Document progress and adjust interventions in collaboration with the supervising therapist.
Maintain accurate records and adhere to all school district and state regulations.
Participate in IEP meetings to discuss students' progress and therapy goals.

Requirements:

Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program.
Current Washington State Physical Therapy Assistant required or current
Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
