Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Skilled Nursing Facility

Salary Range: $60,000 – $75,000 per year

Location: Fredericksburg, Virginia 

Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

We’re seeking a dedicated and compassionate PTA to join our rehabilitation team at a highly respected Skilled Nursing Facility in Virginia, where your skills, empathy, and commitment to quality care will truly shine.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver rehabilitative care in accordance with treatment plans developed by a licensed Physical Therapist
• Assist residents with therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and functional movement techniques
• Track patient progress and communicate findings clearly to the therapy and nursing teams
• Educate residents and families on home exercises and safety awareness
• Uphold all documentation standards and participate in care planning
• Foster a compassionate, motivating environment that supports recovery and morale

Qualifications:

• Associate’s Degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Active Virginia PTA license (or eligible for licensure)
• Experience in a skilled nursing or rehab facility is a plus, but not required
• Strong clinical judgment and teamwork skills
• A heart for senior care and a commitment to service excellence
