Full-time Physical Therapist in Hollywood, Florida

We are looking for a Full-Time Physical Therapist to help rehabilitate individuals dealing with physical impairments. The ideal candidate is someone who fosters a strong relationship with their patients and works with them to achieve shared goals for the PT treatment plan.

Job Type: Full Time

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Compensation: $90,000 – $100,000 per year + benefits 

Patient Volume: 2 patients per hour

Job Duties:

• Evaluate patients' needs and conditions
• Observe patients' movements and behavior to identify clues about their needs
• Create individualized patient treatment plans
• Teach patients how to properly use therapeutic exercise techniques
• Provide stimulation or massage to promote healing
• Assist patients with the use of equipment such as wheelchairs or walkers
• Maintain patient records and keeping track of goals and progress
• Advise patient and family about in-home treatment options and exercises
• Diagnosing movement dysfunction and developing a treatment plan

Requirements:

• Active Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent
• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is preferred
• Effective communication
• Careful observation
• Ability to manage patients with different personalities
• Knowledge of treatment practices
