Job Opportunity: Physical Therapist – Orthopedic Outpatient Clinic
Location: Laguna Beach, California
Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday (9 AM – 5 PM)
Compensation: $90,000 to $100,000 + benefits

Position Overview:

Looking to hire a motivated Doctor of Physical Therapy in the Sunshine State to join our new outpatient clinic. You will work in an orthopedic practice, providing care to a wide range of patients, which will include athletes and adults with a wide range of pathologies from the spine to the extremities and jaw. In this setting, you will be working with patients from the initial date of injury, post-operative, to patients suffering from chronic pathologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide evidence-based physical therapy interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
  • Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, post-treatment care, and wellness strategies.
  • Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, physicians, and other healthcare providers to optimize patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in compliance with clinic policies and regulatory standards.
  • Stay current with advancements in physical therapy techniques and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of California (or eligibility to obtain licensure).
  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting (new graduates with clinical rotations in orthopedics are welcome to apply).
  • Proficiency in therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy and functional movement assessments.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and patient education skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
