Job Summary:
Physical Therapist Outpatient in Rancho Mirage, California. This position involves implementing treatment plans and selecting modalities to meet specific goals, providing prescribed physical therapy to facilitate patient rehabilitation, and assisting with patient evaluations and discharge planning. The role emphasizes compliance with regulatory standards, documentation accuracy, interdisciplinary communication, and mentorship of student interns. Therapists will work a four-day workweek, scheduled for days, with additional hours as needed.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, on days, with 4 x 10-hour shifts and a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Bachelors Degree or higher in Physical Therapy, license issued by the PT Board of the State of California, and American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Preferred Qualifications: Masters degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy, physical therapy or healthcare experience, and at least 1 year of experience.
• Additional Information: The position requires ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, administer all department modalities and protocols appropriate to the patients age, and communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals. The role involves providing safe, comprehensive discharge planning, maintaining documentation, and participating in interdisciplinary coordination.
