Strong ability to handle patient evaluations and therapy sessions, adhering to a 1:1 patient ratio. No weekend requirements or on-call duty. Description: The Physical Therapist will work in an outpatient setting. Therapists will see an average of 10 patients per day from Monday to Thursday and 5 on Friday. Sessions are scheduled every 45 minutes, which includes evaluations. Double bookings may occur occasionally but are limited and never for Medicare patients. Flexibility is required as the therapist may float within scope to meet facility needs. Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, assignments may require emergency response duties. All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application. The facility prioritizes non-local candidates, and locals are not accepted. Candidates must possess the required license to be cleared for reporting to the facility. All lab requirements must be met within specified timelines prior to the start of the contract.
